SS 6.0 SOUTHERN CIRCUIT SAFARI PROGRAMME

6.1 SELOUS - MIKUMI - RUAHA - 8 NIGHTS/ 9 DAYS

Boat Safaris and Cruises: Boat Safaris on the Rufiji River, and Cruises on Lake Tagalala, offer a unique experience, as the Selous is the only reserve in Tanzania where this option is available. Game drives along the edge of the lakes and rivers are of course an attractive day time alternative, with evening drives conjuring up special magic as the sun goes down over the lakes.

Walking Safaris: Adventurous travelers can also explore the wilderness on foot a rare opportunity in Africa parks and reserves. Even more exciting are trekking safaris lasting several days. A small group of adventurers, accompanies by guides and game scouts, go deep into bush, setting up camp each evening in some scenic sport this probably the best way to experience the heartbeat of the Selous.

Day 1	Pick from Hotel for departure to Mikumi National Park. Arrival for lunch. Afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp F/B.
Day 2	Full day drive at Mikumi National Park. Dinner and overnight at he lodge/camp F/B
Day 3	After breakfast depart to Ruaha National Park. Arrive for lunch and afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge/Camp F/B
Day 4	Full day game drive in the Ruaha National Park. Dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp F/B
Day 5	After breakfast depart to Selous National Park preferably on a boat with picnic lunch on board. Arrival for dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp F/B
Day 6	After breakfast board a boat for a safari along the Rufiji River. Back to the lodge/camp for lunch. Then do an evening cruise at lake Tagalala. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp F/B.
Day 7	After breakfast full day working safaris with picnic lunch. Dinner and overnight at Lodge/Camp F/B.
Day 8	After breakfast depart full day game drive. Return to lodge for dinner and overnight at Lodge/camp.
Day 9	After breakfast depart to Mikumi. Have a lunch on the way. Arrival at the lodge in the late afternoon either overnight at the lodge or proceed to Dar es Salaam for overnight.
